Clinical Internship Program

LIBH is partnering with universities that offer Master’s in mental health programs to provide more access to services by providing low-cost therapy. These services are offered at a reduced rate but they are not covered by health insurance, in or out of network.  Benefits of working with these Master level interns include:

Halle Wefels, MCH Intern 

Halle is a passionate mental health counselor intern currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Counseling at Long Island University. With a strong dedication to helping others, Halle has gained valuable experience working with children on the autism spectrum, offering support and guidance tailored to their unique needs. Drawing from an eclectic approach, Halle integrates various therapeutic techniques to best support clients, focusing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In addition, Halle has a keen interest in mindfulness and yoga therapy, believing in the power of these practices to promote mental wellness and emotional balance. Eager to contribute to the well-being of others, Halle is committed to fostering a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for growth and healing.
